Situated off the main road between Brinchang and Tanah Rata, Abang Strawberry is also famous for its restaurant – 200 Seeds Cafe – patronised by tourists that utilises strawberries in many of its dishes, both savoury and sweet.
The cafe’s most famous dish is ‘Nasi Lemak Sambal Strawberry’, a Malaysian favourite of coconut-milk infused rice, salted anchovies and crispy fried chicken with an added twist to its sambal (chilli condiment) that uses strawberries. Pastries, scones and desserts are also available. The farm offers strawberry picking to visitors and has a shop that sells strawberry jam and other products.
